Pre-Event Preparation
- Consultation & Shot List: Coordinate with the client or event planner to establish key timelines, milestones (e.g., speeches, cake cutting, awards), and must-have guest/VIP shot lists.
- Venue Walkthrough & Lighting Assessment: Evaluate ambient light, venue layout, flash restrictions, and designated staging areas prior to the event.
- Equipment Prep: Arrive fully equipped with primary and backup camera bodies, lenses, flash units, batteries, and memory cards.
On-Site Coverage
- Candid & Roaming Coverage: Document guest interactions, reactions, atmosphere, and natural event moments.
- Key Milestones & Formal Staging: Capture scheduled highlights (speeches, ribbon cuttings, keynotes, first dances, stage presentations, and group portraits).
- Details & Ambiance: Photograph venue setup, decor, signage, branding displays, food/beverage setups, and sponsor placements.
- Vendor & Logistics Coordination: Work in sync with the DJ, event planner, and photo booth team to ensure key moments are not missed.
Post-Production & Editing
- Image Culling: Filter out duplicates, test shots, out-of-focus images, and awkward expressions.
- Color & Exposure Correction: Color-grade, exposure balance, and crop all selected images for a cohesive, professional aesthetic.
